Usually the attorney keeps the original and provides a copy so that in case of death its location is known. Sometimes a copy is filed with the clerk of the court, also. You might have to check with all attorneys in your area to see if your grandparents had a will drawn up.

If you can find the attorney, he should have one. Try contacting your local bar assoc if you can't find the attorney. Are your grandparents still alive? This could be a factor in you getting the will. Also, do they have a financial advisor? He may have a copy.

Does anyone else have a copy of the will, like a parent, sibling, cousin, aunt, uncle, etc... Ask them if they do, and ask for the name of the lawyer.

If it went through probate, then you can call the courthouse and ask. They will have it on record.

Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. I assume that they are already deceased or you would be asking them.
