Women lie about things that you shouldnt have to lie about - cost of something etc... why do they do it?

Okay, most women and men lie. I don't understand this. I make sure that I am totaly honest with everyone. It's hard, but I just can't have it any other way. People lie about things to save other people's feeling or because they are afraid of what the other person might do. People lie to hide things. Plain and simple.

I don't lie, but perhaps the person you have in mind has a specific reason for lieing. Take for example, lieing about the cost of something. If she knows you will be angry or upset about how much she is spending on something she is more likely to lie to you about it. I would just say "f*ck you" it's none of your business, but to each his own I guess.

It is not all women who lie, just like it is not all men who lie!
There is good & bad in both sexes! Don't just try to blame it only on the women! Like most of the men always do!!!!!!!

its just 1 of those things, females are born liars, the cover up thier age with it to thier bra size to sayin they are a size 12 when they are a 16, but then they lie about more things cos they think the got away with the first set, but they often forget that to cover up a lie they have to lie again, it gets a bit further from the truth and starts a vicious circle, but hey they are female, perhaps we should just shoot them and be done with it

As a woman I see no harm in white lies like how much I spent on a new top if it keeps the peace, women cannot help the urge to shop for nice new things, it makes us feel so much better about ourselves... Men dont normally understand this..I wouldnt worry to much unless it becomes problematic... although honesty is essential when it comes to more serious things

I don't believe that it only related to one gender, but it could be to impress another, and usually that would be another woman.
Some women feel inferior to their gender, and always seem to be comparing themselves to one another.
I also believe that it has to do with age of the female. As you get older, you realize that there is no reason to compare, you become more satisfied with whom you are and whom you have become.
Other than that...I have no clue.
