Running of the Bulls is an event that takes place every year in Pamplona, Spain. Bulls are let loose to run a course through the cobblestone city streets, while locals and tourists "run with the bulls" in an adrenaline rush to avoid being trampelled or speared. Many believe this is inhumane to the bulls, because their feet often slip on the cobblestone while rounding corners, causing them to fall and get hurt. Additionally, people are often seriously wounded during the event.

If you're referring to a jargon used in the financial world - running of the bulls aka bull run means that the financial market is doing well. ie, stock prices are rising.

A short form would be "bullish".
