Go to the link below and run the program. The disk will be blanker than blank. The program will write 0's to the hard drive, then all you do is re-install your operating system. This will also work if you have a virus.

if you have installed windows on C: you cannot clear it .
but if you have installed it on D: or other partitions,you can uninstall one version when you have another version installed on another partition.
so if you want to get rid of it,with no other windows!create a ms-dos floppy by rightclicking on the floppy drive,
and then go to startup using floppy disk,then write format c: /q or any other partition to format your partitions.

Boot to a boot disk (I prefer Windows 98) and type "format c:" (or whatever drive you want to erase. You will lose ALL data on the drive.

To be extra sure that your personal data is not retrievable, use a data erasure program to delete those files securely first before you format the harddisk.

Start Windows in safe mode with a command line prompt and type:

- format c: \Q
- fdisk /MBR

You should restart your computer with bootable diskette (or CD) and format your hard disk.
