No.
1. I'd figure something was wrong with it.
2. I'd feel bad about taking someone's money.
Now, if someone trustworthy proved to me that the money was not from a bad source and not illegal and the person insisted, I would eventually accept it. The best way, though? An anonymous gift that is first verified by the police as safe money. Now, if it were just a sack of pennies, I would probably not think too much of it. Dollars are different, of course.

I would look to make sure that there were not a bunch of cops and bank guards racing after him and that the bag was not splattered with a dye packet. I would also look around for some reality show cameras. After that I would take it, thank him, and run home to count it and check it for counterfeits. If all was well I would divide it into packets of less than $10000 and head off to a bunch of banks to make deposits and get those toasters and blankets you get for opening a new account. If I ended up with enough toasters and blankets I might open a Bed and Breakfast. Any plans after that I would have to think about more carefully.

Unconditional money from a stranger? I would definately question that. Especially since my definition and the stranger's definition of the word 'unconditional' COULD be very, very different.

No, I would not trust that the money was actual legal tender or not the result of some ill-gotten gain.
