Preet, we are on the same league. I know how hard it is believe me, and this is better said than done but I'll share it with you anyway: Let go, the more you push it the more things turn sour. Accept the fact that she can't live without her bestfriend and move on from there. The hurt is almost impossible to bear and you'll feel like dying everyday. Just take it one day at a time till it turns to weeks and weeks to months then months to years. Time's the best healer. And it doesn't wait for anyone. Go, pick up the pieces, move on.
If you have time, maybe the two of us can talk.

You cannot make anyone be your "best friend". I am sure that it is touching fro her that you value her so much. However, if you try to keep someone all for yourself, you are more likely to make them want to run as far from you as the four winds will take them. Possession is not a part of a true friendship. It sounds like maybe you could stand to get out and try to make more friends, because there are bound to be plenty of people whom you may not be as close to, but can enjoy yourself with nonetheless. Also, if this is such a burden on your heart that you cannot concentrate on your studies, you may want to consider getting some counseling or something because it sounds like you may have some underlying psychological issues.

So are you just "FRIENDS"? Sounds like your in LOVE with her, Ive always hated the BEST FRIEND label. I have many friends but not a best some i just like more than others. So get a grip and try hanging out with your best friends best friend, you may find that you like her better than your "BEST" friend. Ya never know maybe you all can be a threesome, no I dont mean that sexually either!!! And what are you 13?

It seems that you are a bit obsessed with this person. You need to focus the energy spent on her on yourself and your studies. Stop vesting your energy in things you can not control and you will find the friend that you desire.
Good Luck!

Is she just a friend? or do you like her as more than a friend? It sounds like it to me. You can't control someone. They feel what they will. Be kind, and honest, and hope for the same. Good Luck!

Just because you consider her your best friend. Does not automatically make you hers. She has the right to choose who her friends are, and who her best friend is. Consider yourself lucky that you even have her as a friend. Before you end up pushing her away.
