You don't have to say "I don't love you". You can say, "This isn't working out for me any more. I'm not happy. I need some space to work things out in my own mind. I'm sorry." or something like that. Let him adjust to it by degrees.

If he tries to keep seeing you, repeat that you need some space. Eventually, on the telephone preferably, you can tell him that you think it's really over.

In other words, be gentle but firm and break it to him gradually - both for his sake and your own.

Sometimes it is easiest to begin a conversation like that in a quiet public place like a restaurant, as it might avoid a scene because of the ambiance. Furthermore, you should meet there so you have your own vehicle with you. Trying beginning the conversation with a question like, "Do you feel that this relationship is going well?" Maybe express to him that your feelings have cooled and that you don't know that they will change back. Explain that he is not at fault for your changes and that you would like to avoid anger and blaming by separating. From there he will either get on with it or come back later in a mess. Change everything you can like email and cellphones, etc. Watch for stalking and keep in touch with friends and family for awhile about your coming and goings. If you really think he will go off, you can't be to care. Just make it clean, clear, and nonjudgmental. Good luck.

Its just as easy to fall out of love as it is to fall in.. if he still loves you he won't be mad, he will be sad. But, the longer you go on and make him think you love him, the closer he will become and the harder it will be for him to get over you..There is no easy way to say or hear someone you thought loved you doesn't anymore. You have to just tell him the truth so you and him can move on with you own lives. Don't wait, tell him as soon as you can!

Eventually, it depend on what type of person he is.. Some take it easy while some are on verge of breakdown...

Anway, when is breakup a happy event.. It's always the case when one party feel that it's enough and time to move on in search of a new life.. AGREE?

Just tell him straight in the face that you dun love him.. He should get the msg across.. Here and there, you should experience some wishy washy thingy until everything settle.. I mean emontional for him..

Everything still will depend on what type of person he is..

Cheers!

Honestly, I don't think there is a way to do this. Depending on his personality, he might get mad even if he doesn't care about you that much either. It'll hurt his pride, hurt his feelings, etc. It's a brave thing to do though & I totally respect you for it. Good luck.

The more that you drag it out the worse it will be just tell him. He is going to have to hear it at some point. Or do what all girls are good at tell him you love him like a brother ( got told that once ). Hehe

There's really no way to tell someone you don't love them without them getting mad. The only way he won't get mad, is if he doesn't love you either. But if he loves you and you don't love him back, he's going to be upset no matter how gently you try to put it.

Nobody can do that. There is no way of telling your partner that you don't love him without him getting mad or getting hurt.

You cannot expect that he won't be a little upset. But if you are scared of his actions than i suggest you tell him from far away on the telephone or in a therapists office-do not do it on a talk show.
