i think ppl need to empathize a little more these days..
how offended would you feel if someone asked "can you tell me at least one good thing about christianity or judaism"
there are over 1 billion followers of islam.. a beatiful religeon that states "Whoever takes one single life without justifcation, is as if he has killed the entire humanity" [Quran 5:32].
What Americans see on CNN or read in the NY times (both of which owned by jews oddly enough), is a very biased look at a HANDFUL of radicals of this religeon that over 1 BILLION follow. Their ACTIONS are NOT supported by the overwhelming majority of muslims - although their GRIEVANCE usually is.
I feel almost more sympathy towards americans than I do to palestinians or iraqis because a country so rich in opportunity and freedom harbours citizens that are unwilling to FIND the truth and are satisfied with ACCEPTING whatever media feeds them. I have full faith that if the american people only knew what really has happened/is happening in the middle east they would be shocked and outraged and above all else be opposed to the stance of Israel and the U.S. I believe this because standing up for what is right is what it truly means to be American. I hope that the american people will soon see the truth/tragedy that has unravelled b/c of their lack of understanding on these issues. Media has mislead the people of the west .. to the point where you ask questions such as "Can you tell atleast one good aspect which you may appreciate about Islam?".
If you seek the answers you will find them...
In its purest form the Quran and the Hadith (example of the Prophet Muhammad PBUH) teach believers how to live a life that is so peaceful, kind, generous ..absolute bliss.
Islam promotes peace, forgiveness, charity, kindness, respect and love amongst other attributes to SUCH a great extent.. If you only knew Islam..my only question would be

- don't be too quick to answer that.... do a little reseach.. you will likely find that your dislike has nothing to do with Islam...
I can only say this much ... Islam is a simple religeon.. that makes sense. If you take the time to learn about it.. FROM AN UNBIASED SOURCE it is hard not to love or at least, respect it.
I know this was a lengthy response - but I was so shocked to see some of the responses on here against islam- coming from those who have the technology to find out more about the other side of the story....
It is actually an Islamic teaching to seek knowledge wherever it may be found.
Anyways, I hope people learn to EMPATHIZE, because that is the key to understanding which is the precursor to peace.
I pray that day is not too far from now..

I am not a follower of Islam.There may be many good points in Islam which i am not aware of naturally because I am not a Muslim.This question makes one misunderstand Islam as having no good points.But I don't think so.The meaning of Allah hu Akbar La Ilahu Illalla hu Akbar means God is great and there is no one to replace him.And I think this is the best aspect of Islam.

The good Muslim either have their heads in the sand and never respond to the corruption of the Nazislamic Fascist or
the good Muslims agree with the fascist side of the religion.
Or as I believe there are no good at all in the Muslim/Nazislamic religion Their actions speak louder than their words

Islam has no bad aspects...some which are medieval in nature are sadly being blindly followed. However it is not Islam but misguided people have drawn their own religion into such a condition from which only Allah can help them

Even though I do not profess the Islamic faith, and with all the stuff that is going on, on account of it, I still believe that the very essence of any religion does not discriminate individuals. It is just a new means of venting out your frustration, and making up for your mistaken, gross actions, and deeming yourself as Crusaders or Jehads, fighting the demons, that exist in your head.

The Qu'Ran states that one must be merciful because God is merciful. It states that Jesus is the Son of God, born of a Virgin Mary, and that Jesus' teachings are the way to God. Muhammed was just another prophet, of which the Old Testament of the Bible has many, and the New Testament has several.

The Qu'Ran says that you may defend your country, and may drive invaders and infidels (those trying to turn people away from God...even trying to turn a Christian or Jew away from God makes one an infidel) out of your land...but only to your borders. It very firmly says to never harm another beyond your own borders. It says that if an enemy asks for mercy, to give it to him.

Islam is a very spiritual and peaceful religion. Many people will quote it showing places where it says things like "hunt down the infidels to the ends of the earth" and such things, but those are all...every single one of them...taken out of context. If you see someone point to a place in the Qu'Ran that incites violence, you will see if you actually bother to read it, that those were not commands of God to the people to do, but were requests of Muhammed to God for God to do. Kind of like King David in the Psalms asking God to destroy his enemies.

Anyone who knocks Islam is simply ignorant, and probably (like most conservatives) do not want to know Truth. They would rather live with their own pre-conceived notions than really find out what is really going on...what is the truth!

If one is going to judge a religion based on the actions of a few of it's followers, how about Christianity...the one group that has caused more death, destruction, and suffering than all other groups of any kind in all of history put together. Don't forget...19 million Native Americans were murdered for being "pagan" (non-Christian). Hitler promoted the murder of 6 million Jews on the basis of Christianity. The Salem witch trials killed anyone who was not a "good christian"...some 2 million. The Iquisistion killed off more than 4 million people simply for not being "Christian enough". The Crusades killed more than 8 million Arabs.

My reading of the Quran and studies of present Muslim attitudes have convinced me that Islam is a peaceful religion. Tolerance, justice, and peace are basic principles. Too bad more americans don't want to know.
