The average amount of weight for a person is 1-5 pounds a week and roughly about 10-15 a month. You don't want to lose weight too fast because it can mess up your body chemistry and make you very sick. If you need help in losing weight consult with your doctor and a nutritionist to help you with your weight loss goals.

Don't get overly concerned about your weight. Think more about being healthy and looking good. Losing weight to quickly is dangerous. Here is what I did to lose 40 lbs in two months.
Burn more calories than you eat.
Cut your fat intake.
Eat three cups of fat free low cal yogurt a day (make sure it has live cultures in it). This helps you break down your food.
Do 45-60 min. of aerobic exercise a day (preferably before you eat in the morning).
Do 20 min of weight training three times a week. This will build lean muscle which will in turn burn fat.
I lost 40 lbs in two months and have kept it off for two more months doing this. I also took my body fat % from 30% to 14%

I keep asking myself that same question and I hate the answer i come up with!!! YOU CAN'T!!!!! I am trying to loose weight and the best things to do are to eat right, DO NOT DIET and workout at least 30min a day. You may be like me and want to see instant results but like me you are going to have to learn to be patient and not get discouraged. Oh yea in this process stay off the scale, go by how your clothes fit you!

Drink lots of water, and prune juice, its good for the heart, but,it also helps you to go.. and just eat cherrios, when your hungry...Good-Luck, oh and walk alot !!! Or excercise, alot!!!!
