I have found the Zillows website to only be a VERY general reference...it is by no means accurate, unless they've done some serious upgrading.

You can call around to all of the houses nearby that are selling, and see what they're looking for. Remember, you have to compare as well, because they may have more to offer than your house. For example, if your houses look similar and are in the same neighborhood, but they have a basement and a pool, their house will be worth significantly more.

Also, you can hit the municipal building and take a look at the tax records of your neighbors...it's public record.

The easiest way is to contact a few local real estate agents as they will be keeping track. You can also find out by checking the local tax records.
