The man was going the other way and although he had seven wives there is no information to suggest that they were with him.

2753, you see the man with all the wives and cats was traveling much slower then I by myself, so I met him as I passed. We were all going to St. Ives because they have the best pet mart there and he was going to sell all his cats as they were famously good mousers.
