Andy Gray seriously annoys me I have to turn the sound down when he starts rambling on...Although I do love to listen when he and thingy darke are commentating as it is so clear that they just don't like each other! Either that or Gray is just sulking that he can't comentate with his lover Martin Tyler!

World cup, game 2, Equador V Poland. Scoreline at the point of the following drivel 0-0.
"This is quite good for England {not even in the same group} as you would fancy us to beat either of these sides later in the tournament"
England had not yet kicked a ball but were already in the 'later stages' and in line to knock out one of these teams therefore going to the 'even later stages'. Petty they didn't get to the 'even later than that stages'.
Arrogance and contempt beyond belief.

what people forget is that England are just an average team with some good players no way would i say they are world beaters, all there top teams have more forigners in there teams than english players. the media build them up so much that when they dont do anything there is an almight crash and outwith england have to listen to that drivel too. i thought Rooney should have been sent off for what HE did and not what Ronaldo did.

i think sometimes they go overboard but its interesting. You have to remember that this is England's only victory in Football until England win the next World Cup or Europe Championship 66 will always be there but that isn't a bad thing. it was a great final at home against Germany 4-2.

Some of them are really boring but I like Martin Tyler supported by Andy Gray. Guess it is all down to personal choice but I agree there are some where I turn the sound off.

will they ever forget about 1966? me no think so. if i ever meet a comontator in the street i may remind them of when scotland beat england shortly after the 1966 world cup......may shut them up for a while.
maybe we should strip them of the '66 title? what would they talk about then?or get them a date with Beckham and rooney....all the english comontators seem to be in love with them.

A good game to play is to see how long it takes them to mention "Premiership" or "Premier League".........usually within the first 2 minutes of each game.
I'm old enough to remember commentaters who didn't feel they had to shout for 90 minutes.
