Currently it is not available. The police have a copy of it and there has been talk that as most things happen, someone will sneak a copy out to the public (black market), no matter how hard you try to keep it private. There has also been talk that at some point, the tape may be aired just up until the point of contact by the stingray.

That footage is not going to be released, an no you cannot and will never get your " hands on the tape "

I've heard other people wonder about this, and my question is, Why on earth would someone want to watch something like that?
Anyway, nobody will be seeing it. The police have it and hopefully it will never be shown. It should be destroyed - his family's peace of mind is more important than people's morbid curiosity.

How can you be so insensitive? That tape should never be shown, because it would hurt Steve's family for it to be aired

That's really sick.
Show some respect for the poor man and his family.
I hope that tape is never made public, as it would be traumatic and devastating to anyone that saw it.

I dont think that tape will ever be available. Most then likely it will be kept for evidence.
