No, Colin Powell is not aiding and abetting terrorists. The better question should be: "Are George Walker Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Carl Rove, and Condaleeza Rice guilty of war crimes against humanity?"

i don't think of that Powell is ever going to endorce Obama in keeping with race. Codoleezza Rice is likewise a black republican yet she isn't endorcing Obama. He has mentioned, in an interview with Dianne Sawyer, that he remains finding in any respect 3 applicants and has not made a determination. He says that he's interested in Obama via fact of his stance on the conflict. he's serious of the undeniable fact that as quickly as the troop surge this summer ends there'll nonetheless be 10,000 greater troops in Iraq than there have been previously the surge. Powell realizes that he and the Bush administration have made blunders in this conflict yet is the only one difficult sufficient to confess it. although Powell is of the same opinion with Obama now, i don't see an Obama/Powell fee ticket via fact Obama has under pressure that he has been suited on the conflict from day one, and Powell has admitted that he grow to be not. this would not seem solid to anti-conflict supporters.

Why, simply because he is not aiding and abetting the criminals in the Bush administration anymore?
While I lost all respect for the man after his "mushroom cloud" speech, he has partially redeemed himself by refusing to continue to be a mouthpiece for BushCo.
The single greatest recruiter for new terrorists is this administration, which Powell is no longer a part of.

Well...he started aiding Bush! The fact that he seems to be speaking the truth this time can't be construed into aiding terrorists can it?

No. He is reminding us that we hold the high moral ground only if we refrain from behaving barbarically like the enemy.
