yes it does my brother got 6 years of prison for possession of marijuana not even a dime's worth and my brother in law molested his step daughter of 7 yrs old and got off with probation for 6 months. The laws are wierd and to them it's the drug problem that they are more concerned with... If you ask me it really blows.

Yes, it is outrageous. You get more time in prison for having a bag of pot on you than being caught molesting a child. Just goes to show the nature of government. It's all because of that war of drugs that was launched in the 80's. What about a war on perverts? I would rather someone who smoked pot live next door to me than a child molester. I think the majority of sane people would agree.

I think thats a misconception. I know someone who got 18 months for a gram of cocaine and I know someone that got 9 years for having sex with a 14 year old. Sometimes it works out. Usually they give you many chances with dope, if you get prison time for it, you've probably had many chances, not so with a child molester, you dont get a warning or second chance.

In this day and age, no one should be getting time in prison for dope. However, child molesters should be put away for life.

of couse. but really its just the American system that sucks. George Bush is so retarded that hed rather have a man that does dope in jail longer than a man who just molested and scarred a child for life. Thats why I'm an anarchists. And why i hate the sysem.

dope peddlers are sentenced according to the severity and number of occasions charged
child molesters get 20 years with no bail and no reduction in time

It damn sure does suck. Also, a person who steals will get more time than someone who kills. What's up with that? It's totally jacked up!

It does suck,.Yet studies have also proven that there are alot of men that get thoughts about kids,but only act on them when they've been drinking or doing drugs.It's all intertwined.
