I don't know what the restaurant was called, but it was on the west side of Mariastraat, close to where it becomes Katelijnestraat.
We also had great food somewhere just to the north-east of the Markt square.

If the truth be told, I don't think I've ever had disappointing food in Bruges.

Don't know the name but had fabulous food in a street cafe just off the main square. In fact have found that the food in Bruges was excellent wherever we ate. And I also know it wasn't expensive because I was a poor student!!

The Golden Monkey on the main strasse. Fascinating decor...quirky service...fabulous food. About £6 per head. Half a lager (Hogarten) 60p. So hope you enjoy :-)
