We Irish were basically in the same situation when the IRA's bombing campaign was going on.
You could not open your mouth in support of republicanism without being immediately asked to condemn the IRA....

I don't expect the Muslims, say, in the U.S. to apologize for the actions of their radical brothers. I would, however like to hear a bit more, or rather some condemnation of what they have done.

They MUST show their condemnation of terror.
I must say I don't see enough of that. It is like they quietly support it. I hope to be wrong, but that's what I see.

Also you said "You could not open your mouth in support of republicanism without being immediately asked to condemn the IRA"
Yes! Of course! Because look at what the IRA methods are. No separation idea is worth Innocent life. IRA are murderers.

Well, where is the Muslim outrage against violence and terrorism? Not from their leaders, not from their communities. The pope utters a historical quote and frames as such and they riot in streets. Some loser draws some cartoons and they riot and destroy across the world. A woman straps a bomb on her infant child to blow up a soldier, not a word from anyone in the Muslim world except to say its justified.

You can judge a people by the fruit of their faith.

yes it must be hard. But none of their religious leaders are doing much to quel the anger, and perhaps, misrepresentation. Its up to those leaders to go out in their communties and try and help stop the spread of anger.I'm sure their are many muslim clerics who are good, but we only here about the bad ones who,for example, want the Pope to be burned for quoting a text that's hundreds of years old.Until they can prove to people that their religion is as peaceful and understanding as they say it is,Muslim's will tend to be grouped. Its a sad human failing, but man does pre-judge.

I don't care how Muslims "feel". I want action. Actions speaks louder than words. Where is the mass demonstration condemning the killing of a poor nun in Somalia? She was shot 4 times in the back. This was a nun that dedicated her life to giving succur to the poort. And Muslims cowards just shot her in the back.

They are not asked to "apologize" they are asked to condemn acts of violence and hate.
