Hello, I do got your problem I faced the same. First of all, make yourself sure that you have only one installed anti-virus software+ firewall. That is of VITAL INPORTANCE, if at the same time in your PC are running two not to mention more adware and spyware programs that can be the result!! You've said that you downloaded several pop-up blockers, seriously that can be one of the major reasons for your attacks!! Bear in mind also that there is required a compatibility between your anti-virus software and firewall ( some combimations are simple self-excluding)..I would highly recommend you to try for example AVG anti-virus software + firewall from ZoneAlarm. For me works great. Hope my suggestions to be of help to you! Good luck!!

Windows has a pop-up blocker as well as Internet Explorer. Also, some ISP's offer pop-up blockers on their internet tool bar (Yahoo, Comcast).
Good luck!

make google your home page , it has an atomatic pop up blocker, and on the tool bar choose tools and pop up blocker should be an option.
also go to your start button and choose "control panel " then choose "security center"
then choose "internet options" then choose " privacy" and set it to "medium high" this will also help

Hijackthis! can be very dangerous. One of the best places to have a hijackthis log analyzed is http://bleepingcomputer.com . First try running superantispyware and the other programs is safe mode.

Have you gone to the top bar on your browser, to Tools>Pop-up Blocker, and make sure it's on?
