Does anyone else think that the Muslims should receive another apology from the Pope? I mean he said it once, does he need to give them another? It's like they want us to beg them for forgiveness. If that's the case, we should number the amount of times they should be apologizing to us.

Apologize for what? They misunderstood what he said, and they they went and proved themselves to be the irrational violent zealots the 14th century text accused them of being. He said violence to forward religion has never been a good thing, they responded with violence.

The only think he needs to say is "F*uck you! You proved I was right!"

And I wonder if the toughguys who shot the nun ever read the Quran. By shooting a person of the book they condemned thermselves. There's no virgins where they're going acording to their religion.

A drive by on a nun... what chickenshit losers!

The pope should not appologize if he doesnt mena it, which I think he would not. His previouse apology was that he was sorry they were offended, not that he was sorry for the words he said. Honesly, although I do not agree with his words, he has the right to say what he wants. It shouldnt bother him if they are mad, because they are not catholics. He is the leader of the catholic church and that is it. Our last pope was loved by people of all faiths, but, even though that would be nice again, thats not really his responsability. The world has a lot of religions, we wont all agree and need to let people believe what they want. One person saying something, regardless of right or wrong, is their right. In the future though, I do think it would be in the popes best interest to be a little more respectful of others.

He doesn't have anything to be apologetic about (no, I'm no Catholic, or even Christian). When you speak the truth, why must you apologize?

Didn't many Muslims prove his statements to be true? Riots, burned churches, murders, threats. Isn't that what many Muslims think is justified?

Where are the rest of the Muslims? Why aren't they joining the anti-violence demonstrations in large numbers? Is it because they know that the Pope spoke the truth and are afraid for their lives from their fellow Muslims?

I think the United States should receive an apology from a representative of the "peaceful" Muslim community for the actions taken on 911. Someone needs to denounce the crazy actions taken by these barbarians.

Well, I think the pope was unwise in his choice of quotes but not wrong since the quote doesn't reflect his feelings. However, I though his apology was sort of week. If somebody ran into you and knocked you down at the store you'd probably expect them to apologize for running into you instead of saying they were sorry you got upset when you got knocked down. that's what his apology was like. He didn't actually say they were bad as his opinion but he sure showed a lack of awareness of the present world situation.

NO! The muslims continue to hide behind the veil of political correctness while their own agenda is to take down western civilization.

Enough is enough - what the pope said was the truth according to the muslims teachings

The Pope never apologized to muslims. John Paul II made a blanket apology for any missteps made in the name of Catholocism in the past. Of course, the jihadist propoganda machine siezed it, distorted it and made stupid Americans believe what the slayers wanted you to beieve.

The problem is that the Pope's apology was not for what he said but for the reaction of the Muslim community. Saying "I am sorry you overreacted" is not an apology.

OK, the pope apologized twice. Did it make a difference? Muslims make a fuss to stiffle any opposition. Kafkaesque!
