Senior citizens who live alone face many problems of safety and security.
What Do's and Don'ts can you suggest to avoid problems? For example "Don't open the door without ascertaining who is at the door", "Do verify the background of servants you employ". Can you please come up with similar advice from a practical point of view? This question is best answered by single seniors based on their experience. Thanks

Don't throw away documents that contain personal information.

Don't let any one tell you you need a new roof, driveway etc. Have a family member help you with things like that.
