Anybody know about porting applications running on windows to Solaris/Linux?

Pls mail me if somebody have knowledge on porting applications from windows to solaris or else linux. Give me a idea and tell me any resources on net if u know...

If you are trying to make it native to the OS (not emulated with something like WINE) you will need to modify the source code to use GTK or QT libraries instead of the Win32 (or 64) libraries that it is using now.
