As an Australian I can say (with relative confidence) that an opal necklace would probably do the trick !

If you get to go to the Great Coral Reefe, or any beach, grab some coral, shells and sand. Get a little box made by and aborigone and put the sand and either a ring, necklace or earrings with opals in it. I would also get a cd with aborigone digeradoo tunes and other popular local music. Kangaroo beef jerky might be nice if she isn't a vegetarian.

Koala Bear! They can only survive in Austrailia in the Wild. Out of everywhere in the world. If we wanted some here in the U.S., we would have to have fresh Eucoliptus (sp?) Trees sent to us every week for their survival and that tree grows only in Australia. Buy her a stuffed Koala Bear. They are soooooooo cute! A stuffed Koala Bear w/a Baby attached to it! AWWEEE!

I reckon a purse made from a kangaroo's ball bags would go down a treat!
