when i log on to yahoo messenger there is a person that wants to be added. i click ignore and it shuts my messenger down and when it comes back up the person is still there .i cannot get rid of it.

Add the robot and then block it. It might be good to reinstall messenger. Sounds broken.

Re install the messenger. But before that check your computer for virus.
