Ohhh yes. I'm a very detailed oriented person, and physics deals with everything to be explained--from the minutely small to the incomprehensibly large. It's amazing. It's the most basic science known to man, and yet can be the most complicated. It encompasses every other science within it for it explains the forces and ways by which other actions in other sciences are known to exist.
There exist so many branches of it as well: astrophysics (my favorite), optics; atomic physics, nuclear physics, particle physics, chemical physics, thermodynamics, etc... it's so incredible.
Without it, everything else in this world is meaningless...

Because there's a scientific way to explain everything that goes on in this world, like heat and motion and stuff.
