My husband and I are going out of town this weekend, it is his birthday. It is sortof a surprise, he knows we are going but doesnt know what we are going to do, I need some ideas. I want to make it very memorable for him. Also we tend to argue when we go out of town, any suggestions on how to make sure not to ruin the weekend by arguing? Thanks!

dont put yourself first...if you know what kind of activities he likes then work with that - for example, sports, hiking, lazing by the pool etc. Be determined to give him own way just this once as its his birthday. This may stop arguments if you give in. (temporarily). Plan something that he likes but that you dont mind doing - this will help keep things smooth too.

Try going to a private beach, that's one place conducive enough for some romance to get going. Prior to it, you can try to collect as many of your old pictures together, how you started dating until you got married, enough for you two to reminisce the exciting stage of your relationship when you show him your art piece. While you're there, do as much as you can together like a picnic lunch, kayak, watch the sunrise/sunset, whichever you both prefer as long as make sure you leave your cellphones or any means of communicating with the outside world inside the hotel so that you don't get distracted nor your attention divided.
Of course, end the night with a steamy love making after giving each other a bath. Don't forget to bring atleast one sexy lingerie with you.

Get online and look for some fairly close Bed and Breakfasts. You can check out the rooms and see which you'd like to stay in - some have fireplaces and jacuzzis, and they usually provide gourmet breakfasts, and it makes for a truly romantic and fun weekend. My husband and I go to at least one a year and we always have a nice time. We usually find one near water so we can go kayaking. :)

Find a B&B with a big private hot tub.....or a hotel whatever...
Then buy a little gas cartridge stove, the kind they use for crepe stations at weddings (should be like 20$) and a fondue pot.
Make chocolate fondue and eat in the tub with a ton of candles burning and a nice bottle of prosecco (italian champagne, a bit sweeter)
Dunk strawberries, cake, pineapple, dreid fruit, little cookies, fingers... etc...
Chocolate fondue is just =good= chocolate (no hersheys please unless you really really like it) plus heavy cream, about 2 parts choc to 1 part cream. heat SLOWLY!!!! those little stoves burn it quick, so you may do better turning it on for a bit then off for a bit.
Remember you're in the tub. play with your food.
Then into the bedroom, sexy lingerie, and gratuitous oral.

Get some bananas and strawberrys and feed each other while or after making love;
get some paint and canvas and pore it on your naked bodys, create little piece of art:);
even if you have a dilemma about going out of town, try to compromise and still be happy with whatever goes;
and just enjoy yourselves!

Well I would invest in a little black dress, with under it black lace bra, thong and garterbelt set with black stockings, then a nice pair of 4" black pumps...go out to a nice dinner at the hotel...then when you get back to the hotel peel off the dress and wish him a Happy Birthday ...:)
