My son always had them a few times every single day! Apparently, when you eat, this can vary the taste of the amniotic fluid - so they often gulp it when this happens - causing the hiccups! Not sure if this is true - but ... I know mine always got them an hour or so after I'd eaten!
As long as you can feel baby kicking around - there's nothing to worry about.

Both of my kids seemed to get the hiccups a lot when I was pregnant with them. I've heard it's normal. And to not worry because their hiccups don't bother them the way that our hiccups do. Honestly that was the only time my husband could feel the baby moving. It seemed like every other time he touched my stomach they would stop moving.
Relax and enjoy the show.

completely normal! My baby gets them at least 3 times a day! Usually shortly after I eat... I think it's cute & I always talk to him & try to sympathize with him when it happens! When I was pregnant w/my daughter (14 years ago!!) she used to get them a lot - and ever since she was born up until this very day she gets them every time she laughs/giggles really hard! So maybe your baby is just in there giggling away & it's giving him the hiccups ... maybe he's just happy! LOL! Good luck & stop worrying!

I remember when my first child had them. I was scared, and I didn't know what was going on. But my doctor said that it was normal. It usually happened after I ate and laid down for a nap. As soon as I would drop off she would start with the hiccups.
