Do you mean Jurij Brězan?

Well He has a site:

... but it's either in German or in Serbian!!!

Unfortunately... I don't understand either of the languages...

If you understand German you could buy an used (cheaper but normally reliable) on amazon.de! Don't forget... the book is from 1957... and you must look after: Brezan Christa!
