I was looking at some of the questions and answers about them, and almost everyone thinks they are mean, untrustworthy, dirty, stupid and inbred, WRONG! They are some of the friendliest people and I don't know where you got your info from, but we do have education, and are small town business owners who work as hard or harder than you. They don't like to be around big business people, that is all because big business is untrustworthy. I am a redneck, and I KNOW.

All the 'questions & answers' are negative about them on here because Rednecks are the new Blonde jokes right now. Just a trend that will pass for something else eventually, like Polish jokes did. Actually, you HAVE a Redneck to thank for this being popular - Jeff Foxworthy!

There's nothing wrong with "rednecks". They have such "red necks", simply because they work harder than many other people. "Rednecks" like us have to put this out on the table. I hate that steriotype. It's so condicending for someone who dosen't live in our shoes to say that. Just because I'm a "redneck" dosen't mean I don't have my own personality. Plus I would like to see the ones who refer to people like us as "rednecks" to get out and do the f_ucking work we do in that hot a_s sun, and see how long there necks stay white, or whatever color their neck may be. I usually have an open mind, but when it comes to steriotypes I get really "pig-headed". You might as well argue with a brick wall. There's nothing you could say (in my mind) that would make you right.

Maybe they would'n't be so bad if they actually got an education past high school. Most the rednecks i've met are cocky bastards wiht the mentality of a sixth grade, but every now and then (like 1 in every 10) i meet is an alright person. Im from the northern part of "The South" so i live around quite a few.

i'm a redneck and proud of it. i do have an education so do most of the rednecks i know. try farming with out learning about soil, weather, fertilizers, crop managment. i may not drive the newest truck, i may not wear the fashionable clothes, but my kids are never going to kill for a pair of sneakers, mug an old lady for her s.s. check. they are never going on welfare. i drive an 89 ford pick-up. yep its held together by dirt and duct tape, and there are bumper stickers on it too . proud mama of 2 marines. and " you eat my corn, now eat my dust" people think rednecks are yucky because they dont care to be reminded that no matter how much money they have if we dont wanna supply their food, they aint gonna eat :)

Same thing goes for BLONDES.... I am blonde, but I have no trouble with blonde jokes nor the people who make fun of them thinking we are all stupid. Heck I even play on it sometimes to get people to leave me alone....Amazing how acting stupid can clear a room... aaaaaaah I love solitude !!
If I were soooooooo stupid I certainly wouldn't own numerous businesses (by my own doing) and have a life that is a dream come true. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah Life is good !!

Rednecks are loyal, honest, concerned citizens with education and intelligence. What you see is what you get, unlike the pompous, pretentious types who spend more time trying to impress others than they do building strong family, friend and community bonds. I truly believe in Redneck Power. Rednecks will solve our border, illegals and terrorist issues. They will keep our schools strong and American values high! Yea Rednecks!!!
