how to reset an iPod nano?

my friend has an iPod nano, not the clickwheel version though. does anybody know how to reset it? she doesn't have a manual since it's just a second hand iPod.

In the Settings menu there should be an option to reset her iPod. Otherwise you can go to http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=61705
