If you look at the answers I'm getting it is amazing to me that some of these ages are the ages coming back. I would have seriously figured most of the answers were from like teenagers or younger.

Just so everybody knows I am 27 and I have been a very active aquarist since I was about 12. I know I dont know it all and I still have to look things up for myself but some answers would simple kill your fish not cure them.

I'm 42 & I don't think age has a whole lot to do with it, though. I started working for vets when I was 20 & knew a lot about animals even before then from being a voracious reader. There are people on here also as old as me that think pups should have their noses rubbed in feces to 'help' houstrain them (which can then cause coprophagia), and that Pittbulls are inherently vicious & have a special locking jaw & other such rubbish I see repeatedly. Then there are trained vet techs that give straight answers and good advice that are 23. Just like from any cross-section of the public, advice on here can be good or bad, helpful & knowledgable to ignorant & dangerous. Hopefully, the asker can sift through & use the best.

I'm a very old (in body, anyway) 23, but mentally, I'm still a kid. Have had aquariums off and on since I was in 8th grade, but never really took the time to do research until the last year or so.
Futbol_freak: Minimum age is 13 with parent's consent.

There is no restriction in participating in Yahoo! answers I believe. Its a place to get maximum varieties of answers. I'm in Grade 10.

I've saw as young as 9 or 10 on here. But, I would say most average 12-25
