Lucky You!!! You've probably not gained weight because of the whole "finicky-eating" habits, or the smells, or the "Morning sickness" but, you will when you get a little further along.. But, it may be all baby, too!! All my friends said when I was pregnant with my first-born, that from behind you couldn't even tell I was pregnant.. I only gained 20 pounds, my whole pregnancy!! And it was all baby!! I put my blue jeans on the day I came home!! What an exciting moment that was, to where my old bluejeans, again, and be able to zip them up without any struggleing!! How cool, is that !!! You may just end up being the same way!! Good-Luck, to you!! And Congratulations!!!

I lost some weigt in the first trimester due to morning sickness. I then sailed through without gaining weight or much of a bump. Even when going to antenatals at 31 weeks my trousers were only just getting tight! I had a scan because they thought the baby might be small - I then gave birth to a 9lbs2.5oz whopper!!! Bump size is NOT indicative of baby size, nor is weight gain. Make sure you're eating healthily. I did put on about 2 stone in the last month - but it all fell off again post birth. Good luck with the rest of pregnancy.

If you are underweight you have to see the doctor asap. If you are of a normal weight a little weight loss is not going to harm you or your baby and thats only if it is the bare minimum. I lost 6 kgs (13.5 pounds) in my second pregnancy up until 32 weeks. From there on I put the pounds back on. At the end of my pregnancy I weighed exactly the same as when I fell pregnant!

Very normal! Everyone is different. Your body is getting use to having a little extra something in there. Be happy, at 18 weeks I had already gained 7 pounds. Tho I showed right away and had a big baby. If your that worried talk to your doctor and they will let you know that everything is OK.

I have in total lost 7 pounds since I got pregnant due to morning sickness. As long as your Dr is not concerned neither should you. You will gain later in the pregnancy. Oh yea I'm 23 weeks along.

I can't tell you that it's normal for YOU. You should be seeking medical attention throughout your pregnancy, allowing the Dr to monitor everything. I am not a Dr just a full time mother of 4 and for ME it was normal. I lost weight off myself while carrying. For two out of three pregnancies i did not show till the 6 month then i ballooned! (the third was complicated and the 4 i adopted - just in case your wondering). So in the end i would have to say - for some it is normal, if your Dr isn't concerned then there's no reason for you to be concerned. As my Dr's have always told me "I am the specialist, when i say it's time to worry - then it's time to worry. For now, sit back, relax and enjoy life"!

To my understanding it is normal. You got to remember that usually during the first 3 to 4 months we get "morning sickness" and that usually makes us throw up and not eat because everything taste horrible. So instead of gaining weight, you might lose some. In my case I lost 10 lbs during my first 4 months... and then... gain 40 lbs. But if you are not having "morning sickness" and still losing weight you should consult your OBGYN.

It would depend on how much you weighted before pregnacy. If you were overweight, maybe by eating more healthy, you are losing the unneeded lbs. Let your doctor be the judge, if there is a concern they will let you know. It's not how much you gain....it's how healthy are you eating. If you eat a healthy diet for pregnacy and do regular exercise (walking), I wouldn't think there would be anything to worry about. Take care and be sure to keep your OB appointments.
