I recently run stop sign scanner and it detected 30 virus' half of them trojans, and 23 spyware cookies that my normal anti-virus and spyware scans dont detect, but it cost money to use stop sign to remove them. I am looking for help removing them, that is cheap or free. Please Help!

You get what you pay for. Free solutions in the security space are not recommended. Is it not worth $50.00 per year or less to pay for an Internet Security Suite to protect your computer, which costs between $500-$1000 on average?

The best protection out there, and very reasonable on price is Panda Internet Security 2007, it will cover all malware, and remove everything that does not belong on your computer.

For spyware I really like Eiwdo at grisoft.com

Virus scan I love AVG also at www.grisoft.com

Or you can use Housecalls.com to remove while online.

Norton doesn't pick up enough to make it worth my while and having resources and memory hogged up.

hi, perhaps you can try norton to remove the virus and protect your PC, but you need to pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

You can remove them yourself but you probably have much more than what your scan picked up. You need some software. Pest Patrol is good.
