It depends where you live. I used to run an Arts Centre where amongst other things we ran what were basically access courses to art school or drama college. People like you are important; we are interested in you. Write, phone, email or better still go to your nearest drama college and someone will tell you. A decorator once came in to us as he was passing by (I seem to remember he worked with his Dad). He asked if there was anything he could do. It was realised that there was a sudden vacancy in the Christmas show we were taking round schools, Brill. He was OK . Got a lot better. I have lost count of the number of films he has made now.
Go and show yourself you will get more attention. It works

look on local council sites or google specialist schools, or try the schools place part of the govt website
