i usually take eyeliner (not liquid, crayonthing) and circle the whole eye inside
then i make the top of the eye with the same eyeliner.
after that i take black eyeshadow and make the top of the eye abit smudgy. abit of grey eyeshadow on the end of the eyes make them seem bigger. to top it off take liquid eyeliner and add a not too long cat-eye line.
it looks great :)

I bought a l'oreal eye smoker in aubergine (I have hazel green eyes) it makes them look smokey and vibrantly colored.
I've also used a dark creamy eye pencil and covered the lower half of my lid, then smudged the heck out of it with my fingertip. Then smudge a tad under the outer under corner of my eye.
I just think the look - while stunning is so dramatic that is has to be used carefully.

Smokey eyes are really not even "in" anymore. Go for the more natural look with eyeliner on top and mascara.

first pick a color i love a dark purple for green eyes or gray. its so pretty. even a dark brown is awesome. it also works best if you use a eyeshadow instead of a liner b/c it lasts longer. just apply it to the top of your lids and the smude it under your eyes with a q-tip. put on mascara and you are good to go.

This eyeliner is the most superb way to do smokey eyes, because it stays forever and ever- yet its easy to smudge.

what i do is get a dark gray eyeshadow and put it on my eyelid and then i take a dark black eyeliner and liner it on the top of my lids close to the eyelashes and smear it with my fingers and if thats not enough I put more eyeliner and smeared it and at the bottom fo the lashes i put eyeliner and smear it and then put gray over it; then put on some lipgloss on the lips and then some black mascara and your good to go!
