or is it only for scientific purposes? is it the (ave) "temperature in the room"? or what? this is a task given to me. pls answer what u know. thanks! :-)

whitout giving you some long boring answer to make myself sound important, yes approximately 21C is the normal room temperature worldwide. Assuming they are developed enough to have a room and means to get it there. :)

"Room temperature" is approximately 21 C but it is not an exact term. Subjectively, the room feels colder when the humidity is low which is why you may find 20 C enough in the summer but too cold in the winter (when humidity tends to be lower). The subjective temperature also depends on the degree of air circulation (the air tends to circulate more when there's a big difference between room temperature and outside temperature). Also, the color of the walls seems to have influence: people tend to feel cold when they are in green or blue rooms and warm in an orange room.

room temperature varies as the thermostat is adjusted. make it too hot or too cold and practical life ceases
