I really am in need of a good system for futures trading... It seems as if everytime I go long its short and vice versa... please help.

Sounds like you should pick a trade and then do the opposite. That's as good as any at picking the direction of a market in advance without a crystal ball.

I prefer a sure thing myself, so I quit trading.

An academic study a few years ago show that assuming a random walk performs better than any system using macro data.

The only variable shown to be a good predicter of future movements in the FX market is Order Flow. Unfortunately, this is informatino only available to dealers -- meaning that ordinary individuals are at an informational disadvantage.

Your best system for trading FX is not to trade. Your second best system is to flip a coin.

STOP TRADING. Go to a casino. You get free drinks when you lose your cash there.

Seriously, futures are only for the super sophisticated trader.

Buy low, sell high.

Or simply do the opposite of your intentions.
