It is called ADVERTISING. Yes they do think we are stupid or else they wouldn't do it.

Great questions, I've wondered the same thing myself.
I don't think it's so much that they think we are stupid, but they do want the ads to emphasis the lashes on the models. If you just saw an ad with a woman wearing the mascara, you wouldn't focus on her lashes.
It's just the way they are selling their product. Other ads do the same thing all the time, use something to give the product a better look than what it is in reality. If we had to look at the real thing, we wouldn't be tempted to buy it. It wouldn't look that great, or any better than what we were already buying/using.

Yes they actually do. However this is what marketing is all about. Nit everyone knows that the models are wearing false lashes and it is those people that the marketing consultants are targeting. I never paid much attention to it. But once they can fool half of the people they have succeeded in their conquest to get into pockets and help us spend our money on frivolous things.

They do this for the same reason they airbrush models that advertise foundation. They take away 20 pounds from the already-size 4 model advertising jeans. The goal is to get us to seek and buy products that will give us that look that is impossible to get. Their tactic works.

properly in fact its meant 2 make it seem greater effective then that's....its achieved continuously. even in labeled classified ads for meals. on burger labeled classified ads the meals is actual yet its no longer thoroughly cooked and held which incorporate toothpicks and glue. Advertisers will do something to make it seem greater effective on digital camera...as for "fake merchandising"...i do no longer understand approximately that because of the fact they are nevertheless exhibiting the product...their no longer faking the mascara so i think of that's how they are able to flee with it.

they DO think we're stupid. but we buy it. even though we know that its NOT going to do what it does on the comercial.
we convince ourselves that it will work this time.
but yet, it never does.
