I met her at university and she is going back to her home country in two weeks time. So the gift has to be great but at the same time small and light enough for her to carry back.

There are these cool sandles which have imprinted "Just Married" on the feet, so when she goes on her honeymoon it will leave the message just married on the sand. They are lightweight and relitivly cheap!

Or a nice personalised passport holder, if she's traveling home after the wedding, you could personalise a nice leather passport holder (you can get them done on ebay) with Mrs ---------- and one for her husband Mr ----------

go to www.oxfamunwrapped.com , get her some wedding goats, helps people in third world countries and doesn't clutter the house lol

if your friend loves reading ,a book could be nice,try and find what she loves and has little knowledge about it.for example if she loves cooking but doesn't know a variety of food to cook ,a menu book could be prefect ed.and it could be very handy
