make a peace sign with ur fingers and put them at the end of ur lids and pull slightly as to make the peace sign wider .. then its easier to start from the outside inward . if u start from the inside out u run the risk of running out of eyeliner (if liquid) towards the ends. If using a pencil still start with the outside inward that way its thicker at the ends (so u get a catty eyed looke "like a wedge")

Hold the eyeliner pencil with the hand you write with. With the other hand pull your eyelid just a little. Slowly follow the line on your eyelid. Be very patient and careful. You have to try it a couple times before you get it right. I hope this helps.

Always use a hand mirror when applying eye make up. When applying to the upper lid, look down into the mirror, when applying the lower lid look up into the mirror. This way you shouldn't smudge it.

Use one finger to pull tight your eyelid and support your arm on a table or something.
Make sure you have a stash of cutips handy.

rest you hand on your cheek when applying...i prefer gel eyeliner they're almost goof proof
