No, it's not abnormal. Contrary to what we are taught in schools, condoms are VERY ineffective. They are 70% effective in preventing pregnancy, and not at all effective in preventing the spread of the HPV virus which causes cervical cancer (which can lead to permanent infertility).
My husband and I practice Natural Family Planning (or NFP). Although right now we are practicing in order to avoid pregnancy, since it keeps us women so in tune with our bodies' natural functioning, it can be used to time intercourse to optimize the chances of concieving. It is considered to be 98% effective. If you want it to be less effective, have sex on days which are considered fertile! Note that it is NOT the rhythm method--that method is VERY ineffective. If anyone tells you that they are the same or if you read that in an article, they don't really know what NFP is!
My two favorite things about NFP is that it is totally natural--it doesn't introduce any outside chemicals into the woman's body. And 2: my partner must be involved in our family planning. He cannot abdicate responsibility on me and being so involved, he cannot "blame" me if we both decided to have sex on a riskier day (for a baby) of my menstrual cycle. I love that my man takes responsibility for his family and me.
Natural Family Planning helps you keep track of your basal body temperature (your body temperature at rest) which confirms whether or not ovulation has occurred. Every woman ovulates 11-16 days before the first day of her period----every woman. The amount of time that differs from woman to woman is the amount of time before her ovulation--not after! There are other signs of fertility as well: the vaginal discharge becomes like egg white--very clear and very stretchy. The cervix opening is higher and more open (allowing sperm to enter the uterus and travel to the eggs in the woman). Also, your desire for sex increases:)
Finally, if you are interested, consider NFP. Links below--good for learning the method, but also names more symptoms to look for:)
Thanks for reading and God Bless!

He is playing about with the condoms, either that or you have placed the condom on the top of his penis and realised it is the wrong way when trying to roll it down and when you have turned it around it has had sperm on it! make sure you put it on as well and not him cos if your not looking or go out the room you don't know what he may have done?

Dear lady there is something really wrong and it sure are not condoms. I think that both of you are involved in foreplay and do except a little bit of insertion of the penis in the vagina. Its only when both of you are properly aroused that's when the condom is pulled on. Well lady your husband may be in the foreplay session leaking his fluids in you (not ejaculation) please. If this is true ? beware in future and be more careful

You must have either loads of children or not much sex!! This sounds very unlucky, try: coil, spermicide, pill, hormone injection, cap, sponge, different make of condoms or last resort "the snip"

this is not normal. something is obviously wrong here. try a different form of birth control. you must have several children. maybe you or your husband should get "FIXED" that way this won't happen again.
