I was told spotting was ok, but if you pass any tissue at all to call the dr asap, even if I didn't have cramping. Of course I had a miscarriage before and did pass tissue without any cramping and ended up having a miscarriage 2 days later. So I would call to be on the safe side. Good luck!

It is normal to pass tissue in the first trimester of pregnancy. Light spotting is ok. Danger symptoms to look for is light but constant passing, itchiness, tummy cramps and constant white/colored or smelly discharges.

Spotting is almost always OK. But the first clot you see is when its time to get right to the doctor's.

I had one normal period while I was pregnant the first month. Some people have them all through it, although it is rare. Still check with your doctor.
