I am going to my first Dave concert this weekend, and I'm not really that much of a fan, and I only own 1 dave cd...the one with "crash" on it, and thats really the only Dave song I know...I mean I know some choruses....what are some other Dave tunes I should check out before the show on Sat?

I actually live in Dave's hometown, and see him hangin around quite often, so its gonna be kinda weird to see him in this new light!

Since they are promoting the new album look into Stand Up. Live at Luther College with Tim Reynolds is a great album. Under the Table and Dreaming is a great album. I have been a Dave fan for years now but I don't like the new stuff. I would say just go, have a good time and enjoy the music and the company.

I guess DMB is slightly obscure to most of us but I think if you go to the Amazon.com website you may be able to 'sample' some more of the music.

Also, there's a she it load of stuff on the DMB Website for general 'information'.

Although some what 'obscure' I DO really like the DMB & wish I could enjoy the show too. My own perception is that this band is the same kind of 'feel good' music as once heard from the likes of the generation of old style Jim Croche and Harry Chapin...

If you aren't a fan, why are you even going? Just curious! Maybe you will leave there a fan!! I can't believe you haven't heard their "Under The Table And Dreaming" CD! I love that CD!! That Cd has Satellite, Dancing Nancies and Ants Marching!

Go on iTunes and check out some of the other song's he has released. He is great in concert and the drummer is fantastic. I think you'll really enjoy the show.

Dream Girl is good. he has allot of good music, so just enjoy the concert, you don't have to know the songs.
