Right on the point Juliete. I have had so many disturbing comments from the American Neocons over their own Presidents choices. That has nothing to do with my Country, or our legislation. I think Bush was trying to rule the World with his politics like Hitler planned to do. It's really scary for Americans right now with Bush as President of their Country.

Americans have this view of Canada that because they never fought a war for indepedence that they are somehow less patriotic then people in the United States, that they are somehow unwilling to make tough sacrifices for freedom. I'm not saying the view is right, and for me after travelling to Canada I can tell you as an American its wrong. I personally found Canadians to be very patriotic, to Canada. I also think there is some confusion with people thinking that patriotism only applies to the United States and they have a tough time understanding that patriotism applies to ones own country, that the US does not have a monopoly on it.

First Canadians were for the war, and patriotic has nothing to do with it , since canada is a seperate country, we are attached together by land but we are run by seperate leaders, It wasnt Bush's war as you kindly put it, but the government voted on it, democrats republicans everyone, just because it became an unpopular war and Bush's administration doesnt turn and run under furniture at the sight of controversy, it stays its hand as it should to show a strength of conviction.....obviously, turning and hiding doesnt work as proven by the other administrations......canada to me is a great place, a bit anti american in the more french areas but I though canadians arent people to pass judgement on a whole because of a few.....have a great day.....Thank you for giving me the opportunity to give my opinion do a silly republican bashing question when we know all politicians are crooked, yes even canadian ones.....

Never heard anyone say that, ever. I think maybe you need more sleep. Why would we consider Canadians unpatriotic in regard to an American war? That makes no sense.
In regard to the reference of Bush to Hitler- Has Bush killed off anyone for religious reasons? Because of their race? Name one country, part of a country we have kept after a war. Ever. The only thing we have ever asked was the ground on which we buried our dead soldiers. See Normandy's graveyards. We have no intention of keeping Iraq either. As for Canada, you can always count on the US siding with you if your ever attacked. I hope you never are.

Oh it rather is the main patriotic concern ever! Doubly so for people who once or twice voted for him. It should not be straight forward to admit they are incorrect. It shows how strongly this commander-in-chief has offended the voters and that they are prepared to say no to his call for to proceed to exist in Iraq. The Iraqis do no longer choose the people in Iraqi. they do no longer view usa as liberators. They view people as occupiers. enable's merely call it an afternoon and get the girls and boys out of Iraq and out of injury's way!

You answered your own question: Neocons believe Candians aren't patriotic because some don't support Bush's war.

I've seen it posted many, many, times. Not so much here as on yahoo news message boards. The neo con morons are nothing but a bunch or rabib goons who will stop at nothing to bash anyone and anything that they line up in the sights of there toy rifles. It is rumored that your new PM is nicknamed "Bush light", i hope for Cananda's sake it isn't true.

Show me a link to an article where a conservative calls Canadians "not patriotic" because they don't support a war.
You full of it.
No one in the US is questioning Canadian patriotism.

I have never heard any one say Canadians are not patriotic. BTW, how can we expect someone not living here to be patriotic, you must be off your meds. Back to the public health for you.

Oh Canada, our home and native land.....

I agree that you can do as you wish, and you love to get tied up in our politics.

But I hear our one true grief with the great white north is your lumber practices and you fishing boundries.

Keep to your own salmon and we will too.
