Wow.. breakups.. around 7 official.. as a girl.. no rejections.. but instead the priviledge of being able to reject.. one obsessed ex called everyday up to midnight, then fell madly in love with a friend of mine.. and then became obsessed with her.. another was my friend for about 7 years before confessing his love.. later tried to commit suicide and hates me now.. one ex (my first love) cheated on me with one of my good friends.. I took it so hard, and was crying so much, i didn't want to eat, lost about 10 pounds.. my first boyfriend was so sweet, I don't even remember why we broke up.. we're still friends though.. afterwards I had a long-distance relationship.. for 3 1/2 years out of 5, got married, and have been married for almost 2 years.. :)

good grief, how long is a piece of string? every one is different and every ones experience is different, stop counting and you may relax and find the steady relationship you yearn for?
