Awhile ago, I was in an Animal Rights' march, protesting using animals for experiments...I was also in an Animal Rights march protesting the wearing of fur....
I still feel strongly against both...and the march was interesting to be in....quite an experience observing those who protest the protestors! I love the action!

Yes, now that you mentioned it; it was back in the 60's when I protested a march. Marches were becoming popular then, so I decided to protest them -- and that's my only experience with a "protest march".

Oooh loads in my youth. Anti Apartheid, Ban the Bomb, Poll Tax, Student Loans. You can't beat a good march especially if there a riot at the end.

We were marching against the Iraq war. 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon, the senior in our office pinged a message on the network for everyone to drop tools and go on the march.

It was good.
