Lucas has gone back and forth on this issue. At one time all the Bantam books were supposed to be. However, I believe that currently only material from the movies and the Clone Wars cartoon is considered official.

Some of it. All the books published by Bantam are. Most of the comic books are not. The comic books are published by Drakhorse comics and often contradict alot of the books. i think there might be one or two comics that are part of the canon but I know most of them aren't.

depends on who is talking at the time if your reading the books then usually they stay with the story but the way i look at it its a big universe and sometimes legends are made and facts are skewed that may help
