What is the name of this movie? Was on Tv about 30yrs ago?

A present flys in thru the window. A little boy unwraps it and it is a toy red car. Next he flys out thru the window in it and has adventures. They go to a land like ABC land or something and lots of other lands.

The Phantom Tollbooth. I rmember my sixth grade class performing the play version. A few years later, I caught part of the movie on TV, but I don't remember anything else. I guess for further information, try imdb.com
