I need a fill in back for one week while Tomlinson has a bye and these are the only two available options. Davenport was supposed to get Parker's goal line carries but the Steelers didn't sniff the goal line this week. Buckhalter is now the solid #2 in Philly having outplayed Moats for the spot. Pitt is at home against Cincy while the Eagles play at SF. Which is the better pickup?

Thanks Jesse. As it happens I already have Barber on my roster, but Dallas has a bye too! As for Williams, it's a deep league, he was gone in the 8th round of the draft. Seriously the next available back is Cory Schlesinger. :-)

Buckhalter. Its gonna be a divisional dogfight between two very good rivals. Mind you Davenport just got signed and their are still two backs ahead of in Haynes and Staley. Besides there has to be a better backs available. Marian Barber comes to mind, maybe even D Williams out Carolina

I would go with Buckhalter. The Eagles could get up big early and they would rest Westbrook giving Buckhalter some good mop-up duty.

Use Buckhalter. San Fransico's D is not that strong.
