If this is a personal computer I would say you have picked up a keylogger. If it is a work computer then it is probably a corporate SMS type monitor. Some spyware removers will detect keyloggers and remove them. Try Microsoft Defender if you are running XP. You can also try Spybot and Adaware. These programs all have freeware versions. The problem with keyloggers is that they run in stealth mode, and are hard to detect unless you know specifically what progam has been installed. They do not show in process monitor or start menu.

You would be further ahead to let the program run, and then tick review monitor or session review. From there you can decide if you need to make an adjustment. I use "Webroot Spy Sweeper", to protect from all intrusions.

I could be wrong but session monitor sounds like a windows utility program. Don't know for sure i'd have to look it up.
