In the scope of our world, earth is but a speck inside the speck of the milkyway and we even tinier specks upon it's surface. And here we are and everything is comprised of atoms and upon closer inspections when atoms are put into an accelerator, surprise, there is nothing there. It's a matrix and this is a dream. You know that movie the Matrix? Well it's all true. We are somehow all held together, this illusion, by a source of energy which we have yet to fully understand. The good part is that you can wake up and shape your destiny upon this realization.

It is amazing that man has created so many things, just look around, if you had all the money in the world you could not buy all the little gadgets, big gadgets and things that we have invented. Where life becmes fake, is not in the items, but in the wanting them to make us look better, feel better for the sake of being something we are not.

Many of things we buy we dont need, this is ok, however, when it comes to buying that Niki shoe, is it because we really like it over just a tennis shoe or is it to have someone say, "hey hey, those are nice you're movin up."

We all get caught up in it, I like nice cars, love them, the engineering the beauty, I really appreciate what it takes to make a car, and therefore trade my old on in every 3 years. Is this necessary, you beat ya it NOT, its a silly thing I do, its fake, why because I "think" I need a new car, it is not necessary.

So what does one have to do to be careful of the pit falls of "living up to the marketers expectations?" Learn to buy things, do things because we appreciate them, we understand that what we are doing can be done because of the hard work we have put in, and not do it to IMPRESS anyone else. If it is to impress, then you and I would be better humans if we took that money for that object and.....gave it, yes....gave it to a needy cause. (without ever telling anyone we did it, cause giving can also become a fake things, when one wants a pat on the back for having done so, or recognition from those outside of himself/her.

aahhhhh..."fake" versus "illusion". Number of books and articles written on the subject of this illusion called life. Isn't it interesting, that as you gain more life experience points, you gain a different perspective on life. A different opinion about what "is". Your own opinion continues to change, as those around you do as well.

When you see "red", and either like or dislike it, why is that? And when someone right next to you can hold the exact opposite opinion about "red", why is that? Because we all perceive EVERYTHING that we "sense" differently. What I "taste" as an apple is different from what you taste as an apple. Again, probably why we might have different opinions about an apple.

And on to the sense of sight (and perception). Sight (along with the other perceptions) gives us an idea of what is "real" for us...at the moment. We always have a choice to use our minds to interpret what we are sensing in a variety of ways. My choice, as is yours, as is the person next to you tomorrow at work, is valid - just different.

So, is what each of us perceives as "real" truly "fake"? That's only for YOU to decide...

Those without an ability to recognize the blessings in their life can easily be critical & suspicious of 'plastic', 'phoney' & less than genuine aspects of our superficial, money-grubbing existance. My own observations conclude that television programers, advertising agencies & unscrupulous business practices are the major influences of parents being impeded from 'old fashioned' values of respectability & decorum in public schools without prayer & mandatory ciriculums of sex education. Even the upper levels of our education systems require the study of 'alternate lifestyles'. I was too through with university nite school when my tuition was rendered to 'learn' about Emily Dickenson's sex preferences. I'm happy to stay stupid! I may be 'older' but sometimes 'stupid' is for life! Fake is forever. Christ's offer is true. There's no fake eternity. ;-}

Fear was always my greatest disabler (so I tried to control situations) if you can let go of what you think an outcome should be, the results will surprise you.

I was afraid to live for years, I didn't think I was deserving of anything so life became devoid of meaning to me. The more I faced what I was afraid of, the stronger I became.

Dismiss the petty annoyances, live more in the moment, set small goals for yourself & congratulate yourself when you reach them.

The wisdom the older folks have only comes because they've learned how to cope with thier fears.

Remember the bad people & events in your life are meant to be a learning experience, instead of being upset by them...learn from them, forgive them, never forget what they taught you.

The person who is a pessimist think that everything is fake. His mind works only towards that direction. He never put his mind to judge what is fake and what is genuine. I feel it is not the mistake of individual. But certainly it is his mindset responsible for such thinking.

To have acknowledged the fake then you have discovered what is reality
Only you will know what is the illusion, and what is real but you unwrap one while discovering the other
The young, old stupid or wise can't advise you which path to walk, you'll find that path for yourself, and if not then you haven't yet discovered yourself

fake: let me understand what it means.
My dictionary says:
Something that is a counterfeit; not what it seems to be

So what it means 'everything is fake'?

we have five senses. we are getting inputs from that. yes it can be cheated. It may be smell, look, taste like a lemon juice. But it cannot be a lemon juice.

So one thing we can do is understand our senses are limited. Don't just trust on our senses.

Assuming your referring to people. Its not a stage.
You'll get better at spotting & avoiding them.
You'll also get to a point where it won't bother you as much
but that usually happens after you located another (or more) as Real as you.
